Arnold Braun of Elgin, Illinois originally built this dirt track racer in the late 1920’s. He successfully raced it on various local dirt tracks until the mid 1930’s when it was no longer able to compete with the newer Ford V8’s.

The car was built by Braun using a Model T frame, axles, engine, transmission, radiator, etc. He also hand formed the body, as was the common practice for home built “specials” of the time.

Racing equipment that he added includes the following;
Rajo OHV dual plug head
Winfield SR dual carburetors
Bosch magneto ignition
Counter balanced crankshaft
Green water pump/side drive
Warford transmission
Houck wire wheels
Aluminum pistons
Lightened Flywheel
Pressure oil system
Hartford shocks
Center steering
