Ed Jepperson was the 1999 Vern Storey Memorial Trophy Recipient

The power is supplied by a 1918 Model T engine with full pressure oil on a T crank. I just installed a RoJo head. The engine has a Carnegie racing cam installed and the car has been lowered about ten inches front and rear. All that remains of the Model T transmission is the clutch pack. A Volvo four speed transmission was installed using an adaptor plate and machining the input shaft. The rear end is from a 1946 Ford pickup, which gives the benefit of an open driveline. The front end was originally used on a hot rod of the 40's or 50's vintage. Using the rear end and front end I used made it easy to get hydraulic brakes on all four wheels. The radiator is Whippet. Using a fiber glass body has made speed easier and some "tweaking" didn't hurt anything either.
