Ed Jepperson was the 1999 Vern Storey Memorial Trophy Recipient

This car has a pressurized oil system with a Model A crank. The cam is a Carnegie racing grind. I polished out the exaust and intake ports. I installed a Ricardo head years ago, discovering it's all in setting it up. Oil pressure is supplied by an external industrial pump. Carburetion is by two stromberg 81's. A year ago I changed the steering to a rack & pinion setup purchased from Gene Wright. The transmission is stock T and I added a Warford and Ruxtell rearend. I also did some "tweaking" to this and that!! This is a great road car to just tour in. We have driven it on a one thousand mile vacation trip to Montana, using back roads, and did not experience excessive tiredness. The car loves to climb steep terrain and keeping up with modern traffic on the vacation trip was a pleasure.
