1924 Model T Speedster
Body is a copy of an Ames speedster.
1917 Robert Roof 'Model A' 16 valve head with a pressurised oil system and aluminium pistons.
Hayes wire wheels.

Its been dry stored for 20 years. I bought it just before it was to be sold to a museum - its not ready for retirement yet!
It hasnt been sighted by enthusiasts for well over 20 years, but those who remember it say it was a real flyer.

In the final stages of restoration - body, running boards and fenders blasted and sanded back to metal, repairs as required and resprayed.
Engine pulled down and largely rebuilt - almost back together again.
Exhaust heat treated, radiator re-cored and the chassis and wheels resprayed.
Im adding an alternator and getting it rewired as well.

I have a Poli-Form body (identical to Don Shreves) and a rolling chassis in excellent condition (aside from this one) that may become my 2nd speedster.
