Thank you Lee Burgess For the Photos

In the description of #40 'Mad Max' Murray tells the story of acquiring old number 40 that includes some pictures of it. Frank and Art  Reichlin for it built a new body including a huge trunk. He burned the old body (which had a racing history) and collected the ashes. On the maiden run of the new body we stopped by the roadside, a small ceremony was performed (Ed Jepperson dressed like a pastor), spread the ashes on the ground and the whole lineup of speedsters passed over the ashes as they departed.

Murray pays tribute with Jepperson and lots of speedster folks looking on.
