Welcome to the official website of the Northwest Vintage Speedsters, a club dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of 1934 and earlier 4 cylinder speedsters and race cars of any make and model. The club was established in 1975 by 18 speedster enthusiasts in the Portland area and has grown to over 175 members. Our two major annual events are a 200 mile Endurance Run held on Labor Day Weekend and a run on Memorial Day Weekend, which are held in various locations in the Northwest. The out-of-state members who are unable to participate in our events normally consider their membership as a subscription to our newsletter which is published seven times per year. It includes notices and results of our activities and business meetings, articles on speedsters and vintage races, and photos of members' cars. It also offers free ads to members for speedsters and related parts. We welcome all speedster enthusiasts to consider joining our club. Photos presented here are with the owner's permission or from car events. If it appears that your vehicle photo(s) have appeared without your permission the Web Master will remove your photos upon being so notified. Vehicles displaying numbers has nothing to do with the West Coast Registry for Vintage Speedsters. |
