Radiator

Model A Radiators sit on top of the front Cross Member.

I moved my radiator 5" forward.  That is as far forward as I could move it with the pipe between the frame horns to protect it.

I dropped the Radiator down 3.5". That is as far down as it could go. The drop was limited by the Radiator Upper Hose, the distributor, and especially the Air Cleaner.  I wanted the lower side edge of the hood to pass about an inch above The Air Cleaner. This preserves the line of the hood and gives the engine a little room to torque before it hits the hood.  The hood comes down to cover the upper side mount screw on the radiator shell.

This picture was taken before I took the bends out of the radiator hose. To do that, I switched to a '28-29 hose fitting on top of the engine... they are lower than the '30-31 fitting pictured here.... and braised a new upper inlet on the radiator.
