Establishing the Mid-Car Curve

There are lots of ways to start on the Mid Car Curve.

The Mid-Car Curve starts at the Top Curve, intersects the Widest Point Curve, and extends down to 10" below the Top of Frame line. The shape is anything that pleases you. I reasoned that it should derive from the Radiator Curve so I scaled up the Radiator curve by 1.3333, created a side curve to give strength and moved the curve to intersect with the Widest Point curve.

After you see a loft it may be necessary or desirable to move the mid car curve forward or backward to get the right shape.

There can be as many mid car curves as you want, but the fewer the better. 1 is ideal.
